UCSB A&L – Las Cafeteras

The following is an aired PSA produced by KCSB’s Production Coordinator.

UC Santa Barbara Arts & Lectures presents Las Cafeteras — performing Wednesday, September 29 at 12 PM at UCSB’s Storke Plaza.

“One of the leading bands in the vibrant Chicano roots scene” (Boston Globe), Las Cafeteras has gained worldwide acclaim for their joyous blending of folkloric son jarocho music, hip hop, rock and rancheras with zapateado dance and incisive social consciousness. This East Los Angeles band uses music to build bridges between cultures and communities.
