On Saturday, May 29th, Red Jooce Project hosted its very first Solidarity in the Park event here in Isla Vista. There were vendors, DJ’s, ucsb organizations from 1pm until sunset, all for one goal: all proceeds are going towards Black folks experiencing rent struggles/risk of eviction.
