SBMA Schindler Talk

The following is an aired PSA produced by KCSB’s Production Coordinator.

On Thursday, October 7 at 5:30 PM, the Santa Barbara Museum of Art is holding an Art Matters Lecture on Enigmatic Architecture: R.M. Schindler’s Los Angeles. The talk will be facilitated by Todd Cronan, Associate Professor of Art History, Emory University.

This talk explores his enigmatic approach as a designer, from his bohemian mecca, the Kings Road House, to his last “translucent” works, including the remarkable Janson and Tischler Houses.

A reminder that this event is in person at Santa Barbara Museum of Art’s Mary Craig Auditorium on 1130 State Street.
