As Santa Barbara County reported the highest number of coronavirus cases since the pandemic began on Monday, at 360 cases, the first batch of coronavirus vaccines have arrived in the county. The county is expected to receive 13,425 doses of the vaccine this month, with 3,900 doses developed by Pfizer/BioNTech having arrived this week. Shipments of another vaccine developed by Moderna are expected the week of December 21.
